Washing

Wash your garment on a low heat and spin cycle to avoid unwanted wear and tear.

If in doubt, hand wash, especially to clean specific stains.

Air dry the garment flat and to avoid additional stress on the garment do not tumble dry.

Wool

Take care with any items made of natural materials as wool will felt with high heat and friction like in a washing machine or tumble dryer.

Wash wool items by hand and dry them flat. Acrylic or synthetic yarns will withstand more heat and friction but will still melt in high heats. If unsure, hand wash and air dry.

Mending

If your garment does get a hole or some other kind of wear and tear there are plenty of mending methods, like adding a patch or trying out a style of visible mending such as Japanese sashiko style.
